Had a wonderful stay at Oakside Farm Campsite. Lovely peaceful site, friendly and very helpful owners, beautiful views. They have followed the Covid Guidlines to ensure our stay was safe, with clear instructions and ample sanitizing equipment throughout. You need to be self sufficient as no toilets or showers, but there is a chemical waste disposal, and recycling bins etc for rubbish. Beautifully maintained site and easy access to local areas and the coast. A choice of pubs which serve food within a short walk into Ringmer. Cant wait to go back.

A warm friendly welcome to a peaceful and secluded location yet with good bus links to Lewes and Brighton. Highly recommended

We’ve just spent an idillic weekend camping at Oakside and will definitely be back!
The site has great views, loads of nature, some good pubs nearby and the best thing..... they let you have a fire- a real rarity at a C&C site!
The owners were lovely, really helpful- huge thank you!

A perfect site for a peaceful stay.Large field ,well maintained Clover rich grass, surrounded by Oaks and other mature trees.
Wonderful view of the South Downs, with plenty of wildlife to observe and walks around perimeters of fields and surrounding lanes.
Site suitable for all types of camping.
During our three day stay, other Motor homes and tented campers enjoyed this gem of a CL, We would recommend it to individuals, families, couples alike, If as we are, you are a dog owner, again a perfect choice as the `poop a scoop ` rule is well observed by all the campers and in such a large camping area you have a huge amount of space between units. The owners Karen and Peter work hard to keep the site as lovely as it is, they are delightful and could not make you feel more welcome. They have an information brochure that could win a prize! As everything you need to know is listed. Plenty of places to see, things to do etc in the area, pubs nearby and various stores in Ringmer village a couple of miles away----including excellent fish and chips.
Good fresh water and waste disposal, you need need your own facilities, (but port a potties are available from owners.) Highly recommend this CL in every way, excellent.

We were honoured to be the first guests at their beautiful campsite.
As nearby camper van lovers we took advantage of a spell of hot weather to head out to ringmer and we were not disappointed.
The views across the downs were stunning and the welcome was very warm. Excellent value for money and no noise but bird song. We walked to the nearby squirrel inn which was on a busy road and nothing special. The campsite was much nicer!
We will definitely be returning

We had a lovely time with two other tents in our group. Lots of space and nice and quiet.

Lovely, quite site in the Sussex countryside. Make sure you have toilet facilities which can be emptied on site in a cesspit. You can hire a fire basket on site with firewood etc - recommended! Many thanks to Karen & Peter

I can't believe how many excellent CS there are in the south east and this is another one! Karen and Peter have put a lot of effort into making this site a real gem - from the ready-to-hire fire-pits and wood, to the ease of access around the site and the walking available in their adjacent fields. A beautiful and tranquil setting that's a short bike ride to the county town of Lewes and good pubs just a couple of miles away in Ringmer. If you like spacious, tranquil and beautifully located sites with friendly owners, this is one to visit!
